Promoting 2 luxury Greek resorts and 2 boutique hotels in Athens
In 2021, when the world was swinging from one corona wave to another, I took advantage of the breaks in lockdowns and went on several business trips in Greece to explore hotels and resorts in Greece, as part of a collaboration between me and the hotels.
Why Greece?
Greece was open to Israelis almost throughout the whole Corona crisis and welcomed Israeli tourists happily. Israelis love Greece and consider it a favorite destination, every season of the year.
Flights to Greece continued to operate as an orderly throughout the Corona crisis. These are short flights, the stay in Greece is mostly in the open air, so Greece was considered a safe destination.
Domes of Elounda
The Resort:
Part of the Domes Resorts group of luxury hotels. A five-star resort in Crete, Overlooking turquoise waters with stunning views of the castle on Spinalonga Isle. Domes of Elounda is a luxury resort that captures the essence of Crete with an enchanting demeanor, finely tuned service and defining architecture.
Dates: End of June
The purpose of the trip: Marketing the resort for the summer season as suitable for both couples and families, looking for stylish and elevated hospitality and accommodation.
The products of the trip: one article about a romantic vacation in Crete in Roa Olam magazine and one article at Reshet 13 tourism magazine.
Alongside writing the posts, I also promoted the resort on Instagram via Stories and Feed, and distributed the articles in my newsletter, and on Facebook.
Port Royal Villas and Spa
The Resort:
Port Royal Villas and Spa is one of the premier design hotels on the vibrant and sun-blessed Greek island of Rhodes. Set within steps from a seemingly endless beach in Kolymbia, this magnificent adult-only resort affords guests a high level of comfort for a fantastic holiday.
Dates: end of September
The purpose of the trip: Marketing the resort and Rhodes as suitable as an autumnal destination as well as preparing materials for the opening of the 2022 tourist season.
The products of the trip: one article about a romantic vacation in Rhodes in Roa Olam magazine and one article will be published in spring 2022.

Brown Hotels Athens
The hotels:
In the past year, the Israeli hotel chain Brown has also opened a number of boutique hotels in Athens. I was invited to write about two of them.
Brown Acropol: The very first by Brown Hotels in Greece, inspired by the legendary cosmopolitan vibes of the 60s as well as the urban heritage of Athens. The hotel’s interiors and philosophy are based on a retro aesthetic, seasoned with a contemporary take on upscale leisure and lifestyle coolness. the hotel is. located in Omonia Square.
Villa Brown Ermou: A Boutique-style Hotel close to the Plaka area, in the center of Athens.
Dates: End of December.
The purpose of the trip: Introducing the new Brown Hotels in Athens and marketing Athens as a great winter destination.
The products of the trip: One article about my experiences in Athens including recommendations of the hotels and another article that includes interviews with a number of people who run business relationships in Athens. Among the interviewees – Mr. Kobi Bitton, Director General of the Israel-Greece Chamber of Commerce and Mr. Lion Avigad, founder and co-owner of the Brown Hotels Group.
